Key points to note before staking begins on vEmpire DDAOs platform
Hello Soldiers! Ahead of our platform launch we thought it would be important to share with you an overview of exactly how our strategies will work. The following video here will explain the differences between Metaverse token staking & VEMP staking, as well as how the primary & secondary yields will work. We have put the key points below;
1) VEMP is staked into the DDAO for xVEMP, this will earn you a yield from, at first the emissions schedule, then once vEmpire is earning profits, the DDAO will earn its yield from a percentage of Metaverse strategy profits, and from the card battles. VEMP staking is fully liquid without locks and you can withdraw any time. Voting and proposals can be put forward by those holding over at first, 100,000 VEMP tokens. This is to protect against bots.
2) Our initial five Metaverse staking pools (AXS, MANA, SAND, STARL & ETH) will have a timelock of 12–24 months to withdraw the tokens you staked. So you should ONLY stake tokens you will not need access to for 2 years. This is because we need to purchase real NFTs & assets in the underlying portfolio, and these are not liquid, like a normal DeFi strategy.
3) The VEMP yield from all staking pools is immediate and rewards can be claimed any time, this will only cost you gas fees. The Metaverse pools all have a secondary yield, except AXS, which has a third yeild on top. This second and third yield, will not be immediate and will take 4–8 weeks depending on the strategy. This is because to earn the rewards in these tokens, we have to purchase land, develop and monetise it, then earn profits, then redistribute.
